    Hi paulstung,

You may want to look for a 'USB External Slim Optical Drive Enclosure Case' to use your 'drive' with a PC when connected through a 'USB cable'. Such an enclosure generally enables the 'drive' with use of a 'USB Y cable'

Hope this helps. Do reply if you have many further questions. would be glad to assist.

But make sure it has SATA connector if your optical drive is SATA.

A typical external case with SATA connector: Amazon.com: Okeba USB 3.0 External Slim CD/DVD Drive Enclosure Case For Laptop Notebook CD-RW DVD Drive with SATA Connector (Only Case!!): Computers & Accessories

Buy from a vendor to whom you can return if your bluray drive does not work with the enclosure.( There are many substandard cases which may work fine with DVD drives but may not with bluray drives/writers.)
