Remove Launch Pad from Geek Squad Flash drive?
Is there a way to get this Launch Pad off this Geek Squad Flash Drive ? Simply formatting it doesn`t work. I want it like any other flash drive with just 1 partition. I just threw Ubuntu on it, that`s why you`ll see unallocated space ( windows doesn`t recognize it of course ) Disk 6 and cd-rom 2 are both the flash drive. I have the launchpad saved so I can put it back on if I want to later. Any suggestions, maybe PW ?
I ran Ubuntu from 1 of my pc`s fine with it but not 2 others, I think the launchpad is messing with it. |

I don`t think it`s humanly possible, It must be a permanent part of it or something.
Oh well, no big deal :) I`ve always hated Ubuntu anyway ![]() |

It has been a while, but I was able to remove it. I don't know whether this will help with your device, but here's another option: SanDisk Support |

New computer.... opted out of Geek Squad I just bought a laptop and was told by the sales guy that I could pay the Geek Squad $99 to remove unwanted/needed pre-installed programs. I was told that there 7-10 in the registry to remove. The computer being brand new is sluggish, can anyone tell me how to remove without having to buy a program. |
