    I cannot delete fonts off my computer.


    I hope I am in the correct section for my question! I have been trying for a while to delete fonts from my computer. Everytime I try to delete a font, it says font is in use, close programs and try again. I have done this and it still come up with the same message. I have even gone into safe mode and tried to delete them that way, but the same message came up. I am so frustrated! Please help!

    I found a thread on this site that gave me instructions on how to delete fonts manually in Registry Editor. The following instructions are what I used to sucessfully uninstall my fonts:
    1. Open the Start Menu, then type regedit in the search box and press enter.

    2. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes (if in adminsitrator account) or type in the administrator's password (if in standard account).

    3. In regedit, navigate to the location below. (see screenshot below)

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
