Btw, my notebook is Hp Pavilion dv7. I will be glad if someone answer my topic. Thanks and more power to sevenforums
The I5-2430M is a notebook processor (either Socket G1, or soldered to the motherboard). If it's socketed, you'd need to find another notebook CPU to replace it. An I7-3770 is LGA1155, a desktop socket, completely incompatible.

There are mobile quad core third generation I7 CPUs like this one:

This isn't a recommendation. There are a number of things that could prevent the upgrade. One, your current CPU may be soldered to the motherboard, making it almost impossible to swap out. If it's socketed, your motherboard may not support a swap from a second generation I5 to a third generation chip. (I don't know enough about mobile sockets to guess whether that for the I5 and I7 are compatible.) Your current CPU is rated at 35W; the I7, 45. That's not a huge increase, but the laptop may not be able to handle it.

AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core RM-75 VS Intel Core 2 Duo T6600
Since I couldn't get specs on the AMD Turion in terms of cache, etc. (the Intel one in the title is 2M Cache, 2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) I couldn't figure out which is the better processor. Does anyone know? Is there also a website I can reference that can compare them?
