Do you have any benchmarks from your setup with AS SSD or CDM?

Thanks again gents. Good stuff here.
I eliminated OCZ straight off, yes because of the Vertex 3 thing. Probably not fair, but it helped to eliminated some choices and drill down to the final 3. They probably have a better product now but it is going to take a while to overcome all those posts out in the interwebs saying "avoid OCZ like the plague".
I still have an unfounded distaste for Seagate for the same reason. Completely irrational. Such a baby.
The 840 Pro has been my first choice from the start, but I was concerned it was a case of paying extra for the brand badge.
That AnandTech Bench is a nice tool GeneO. Thanks! Although I'm with kbrady on this - day to day use and benchmarks are two different worlds. It's like in the Olympics: the guy who comes in 4th is not a good runner?
With the Samsung, you get top of the chart performance, and probably the BEST reliability out there....all backed up by a hell of a warranty. Samsung makes every part in those drives, of course they are going to back it up 100%. Get one and rock on!
You know, my OCZ Vertex is 3 years old now and I haven't had a lick of problems with it and it still scores well on any benchmark tests I run. The only thing I had to do when I first got it was update the firmware and that was it. I would have bought another OCZ SSD no problems, except for the fact that the company is having problems and I figured Samsung would be a better bet if I needed customer service down the line.I eliminated OCZ straight off, yes because of the Vertex 3 thing
In the FWIW dept, I have 3 Crucial M4's and 2 Samsung 830's. I'm quite happy with both, but if I were buying again today, I would probably go for the samsung 840 Pro. If it ends up being as reliable as the 830, It will be an excellent drive. Day to day performance, I really see no difference, but I've dealt with both customer support and both are very good, Samsung is a lot better though, and the performance of the 830 is better. I also like their toolbox, which probably isn't necessary, but good to have. I also have a Vertex2 which I've RMA'd twice. Just my 2 cents
