Raid set up Questions - How do i set up a raid with 2 SSD's

The problem is i have 2 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD's,, 30Gb just isnt enough space,,,
right now i set them up in a raid0 setting with a 64k striping and everythings working good
but after windows 7 install and updates and a couple smaller programs i only have like 14Gb free space,,,

i would really like to attach these two drives in a line if possible so that i have a 60Gb C:drive. After reading up on raid set ups and that,,,, i just can't seem to figure the best way to do this,,, I do only have the two drives and do NOT want to spend any more money on a 3rd drive to run a JBOD raid,, thinking i may just have to go with two separate drives one for win7 and one for storage but it would be so much cooler if i could stich them together as one 60gb drive.
Im not concerned with loosing data or anything as if one drive crashes i will just reinstall win 7 from a back up set or just do a fresh new install on which ever drive doesnt fail and deal with just having 30gb space.
Can anyone with raid experience let me know IF this is possible and if so HOW i set it up.

If you have installed them as RAID 0, then the C: drive should be twice what each drive is individually.

It won't be 60GB since the manufacturers use decimal to spec the drives while the system uses binary.

    It should be about 55.8GB.

Drive displays a smaller capacity than the indicated size on the drive label

Thanks Pbcopter this i know! I simply meant i want to chain the drives so i have full space of both drives,,, right now for some reason ( i thought because as Raid0 thats what it did been awhile now since i did it, i guess i should re- research as im not sure now how i set it up),,, i only have space of one drive, i set them up in Raid through the bios on the motherboard, maybe thays why i dont know but i figured both were working together, as one 30Gb drive

Check the BIOS RAID controller settings again. It sounds as though you might have set them up to mirror (RAID1) instead of stripe (RAID0).

checked it out and it was set to mirrioring,, so i changed it to a stripe set up,, the bios doesnt give or show a raid0 option so i set everything to defaults changed the option from mirroring stripe to just stripe and i still only get 29.81gb of space after installing win 7.
I must be doing something wrong or this is just to old of a bios maybe?

    ✔ 4GB Crucial PC2 6400 800Mhz DDR2 with Black heat sinks
    ✔ 500 Watt Power Supply
✔ 2- 30 Gb OCZ Onyx SSD Drives

Just hope i can get this raid set up right.

Ok so one more question, if i set up a Jbod (on another PC) with an SSD drive and an IDE drive i assume i will only have the read and write speed of the slower drive correct?

Yes, that correct - the slower drive takes precedence.
