    SR1135cl running win 7 wont power up with ATI radeon HD4670 installed


    Hi after switching from win xp to win 7 I decided on installing a good graphic card on my compaq presario SR1135cl so I got me a ATI radeon HD4670 1024mb agp card now my issue is while the card is installed the computer will not power up when I removed the card the comp power fine what do you think is going on?

    The pc does absolutely nothing when you press the power button ?

    I believe that is a PCI-E video card not AGP slot. Do you have the correct power cables to run it from your PSU ?

    Do you have PCI-E slots in your computer ? Did you go into Bios setup to tell it to boot the video from a card slot first & not from the MB video connection ?

    Ok, this is what I see and hear, I hear the PSU fan runing, power button light is on, graphic card cooling fan active.
    Yes I did go into bios setup and set it up for the new card.There are no PCI-E slots on this MOB I dont think win 7 like this card what is your thoughts.Oh yea computer did start up when I installed the card for the first time and some strange stuff was going on between the standard vga adapter and 4670 card anyway windows told me drivers are installed and I should restart well thats my story.
