The OCZ power supply looks like a better choice for SLI or crossfire, because it has four 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors. The Chieftec only has 2. Single high-end graphics cards have two 6 pin or one 6 and one 8 pin auxiliary power connectors, for each card. (Unusual ones: two 8 pin) I's also prefer the OCZ's single rail.

Most of the people who post here seem to like Seasonic or Corsair. I have PC Power & Cooling (now owned by OCZ) and Antec.

I have two rigs running Ultra's and they have a lifetime warranty which is great but most here not so fussed on them. Then I got my first Seasonic and Corsair, the Sea is in a system and is wicked the Corsair is a builder edition and I'm looking to use it for my next build I'm circling my wagons for ! If it was me I'd likewise get the best PSU I could afford and Seasonic tops my list !

Get a good one, that suits your needs and will last you through another build if possible. Seasonic, Corsair, Antec are the go-to brands in my opinion. Corsair has the best deals around currently(they are built by Seasonic USA) with their semi-modular, 80+ Gold power supplies. Just curious, are you just replacing a power supply or did you have one go bad on you?

I agree. Of the two you listed, I would go for the OCZ model, as it is a well known brand. As far as CHIEFTEC goes, I've never heard of them.

I have had my Corsair HX520W now through 2 builds, 1st was with a Q6600, 8800GT, now with a i5-3550, GTX 560, NEVER had a problem with them, for me I am sticking with what I know. Will be getting a TX750 or TX850 soon as I'm going sli.
