Taskbar mob thumbing their noses at my mouse.

Down in the TaskBar are my open browser pages, open folders and open notepads. Normally when one hovers the mouse over them they all line-up across the screen so you can choose which page/folder to bring to the top. But instead hovering the mouse makes them flicker rapidly. And one cannot click on any to re-activate the page. The only access is to 'right-click' & select. which of course is a failure with more than one browser open.

I've gone back past the time the problem started with 'system restore' & but no solution. the flickering is still there.

    *bump

I think the term is called 'task bar hover preview'. The previews wont pop up and 'be still'. They just keep flashing at quick speed & the mouse cannot settle on any.

I have to say it sounds more of a mouse problem than anything. Can you change the settings in control panel, I'm thinking of speed and one or default two clicks. If their is a specific driver for it, see if there is an update and if so install having removed the old one first.

Yeah Cyclic. I think so too. Even in the forums, when one holds the mouse over thread titles it also flickers the preview.

It is a simple cordless logitech M305. I'll chase the software & report back.
