    Delete Local Disk


    Hello All ,

    I downloaded a file called reactor ( it make a Local Host webpage ) then i found on my computer ( Win 7 32 bit ) a new Local Disk here is a photo :


    and i think it take some space of Local Disk ( C: ) Because they have same size !

    so here is a photo of Disk management it says unallocated :


    So how can i Delete this Local Disk ?

    Ops i restarted my PC and its Deleted but it still in disk manegment how can i delete it from their !? Thanks :)

    Right clik the V: partition in disk management...does it show an unmount option ? ? If so do that.
    It looks more like a disk imaging app did this rather than a webpage creator...

    BTW you are down to less than 10% Free space on your C: drive...time for some housekeeping.

    no i cant see unmount option & space is not a problem

    about V:It's NOT listed in disk management... correct?
    It's only listed in windows explorer and has exactly same size as C and also same used space. Delete or add some files to C. Does V change as well?

    Sorry but ur r wrong its on Disk manegment as u can see in second image and not on computer but yes if i add a file to C: then V: will change Too :)

    Also check registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\DOS Devices

    Is V listed there and pointing to C:\whatever ?

    i said in another post when i restart PC its deleted from explorer but still in Disk managment but it says unlocated

    So V is not visible anymore in windows explorer. In disk management I don't see it!! I see an unallocated space of 8MB. You want to add that space to E?
