    GARMIN Nuvi 205W

Ok, how the hell do you get the GARMIN Nuvi 205W to be recognizable under Windows 7? I can't get the thing to even show up on my devices list. Everytime I plug the USB cord, the device reboots over and over again. Not a single ding happens in my computer.

I figured I'd post here and ask, I have already dispatched an email to GARMIN's customer support to see what's up.

Anybody else got a GARMIN gps here?

Make sure the GPS battery has a good charge (you'll probably need to charge it in your car unless you have an A/C adapter). If the battery is low it will likely reboot over and over again until there isn't even enough power to flicker the screen.

Some of the Nuvis will not charge by USB, unfortunately.

Customer support told me to buy a new USB cord.. wtf?

I'll let the thing charge in my car tomorrow and go from there. I have no idea what's causing this.
