The +12V capacity is only 504W which means it's just a modern-day 550W power supply, and it's not a very good one at that. I recommend not buying it.
- What are all of the computer parts that you will be powering?
- What store(s) can you order from?
- How much money can you spend on the power supply?
my pc onfig will be like this:
Processor:core i3 3rd gen/core i 5 2500k
Ram:8 gb ddr3 1600mhz
Graphics:ATI 7770/7850
OS:win 7 32/64 bit
I will buy it from local computer market
i am looking for to save money on psu but psu is most important thats why on ur advice i am not going to gigabyte psu.
You mean gigabyte 720 superb (not v)?
Not too good. You're better off with these:
SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
Personally I don't trust any Gigabyte product anymore. I had 3 bad board and now a bad mouse. Their support is ansered by non-English understanding people.
As Two Cables points out, this PSU is way overrated by them. Save money on the case or lighted fans, not the PSU, buy quality in a size you need.
It's not that the PSU is over-rated, but it's rated based on its peak capacity. That's one sign of a low-quality PSU.
