I have a SSD and a Seagate Momentus XT 750GB which I used for my User files and some storage. It would be beter, more responsive than a HDD but not near the speed of a SSD, although Seagate claims that. A hybrid may, I say, may give performance that is close to a WD Raptor HDD. It will take some time to learn what files to place on the SSD part so you may not notice fast right away.

Greg wrote the Tutorial. Thousands have used it with success if the instructions are followed. Windows 7 Forum offers the Tutorial and the needed help.
jjknz Greg is not going anywhere just take your time and follow instruction and Greg and the good folks here will get you fixed. In many cases it helps to print out the instruction for reference.

I'm back and I'm happy to say I have a buttery smooth computer now.
I'm just going to make an image of this new installation then I'll be done.

PS. Some of the HP stuff you see are just some function keys on the laptop and the icons to display when pressed.
