USB Keyboard not working after unplug until reboot

    Hi everyone,

I've got USB keyboard for my Ideapad Y570 running Home Premium 64-bit and every time the keyboard is unplugged or the machine sleeps and wakes, the keyboard doesn't work anymore.

I can see that it's getting power, but the keyboard itself doesn't work until I restart the machine. I've tried plugging it into another port and that worked until the next time it was unplugged. After plugging it into all of the ports now, nothing seems to get it to work except restarting (which is a pain).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Hi daitienshi,

    Did you ever resolve this?

I have the exact same issue with my W520. It does it with two different keyboards (generic microsoft and Logitech G110)
