    Hi arunodhay,

If none of the 'USB ports' are working, you may try re-installing 'USB Root Hubs' to see if that helps. You may find the following steps useful:
    - Click 'Start' icon > Type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotations) in 'Search Programs and Files' textbox and tap < Enter > (Device Manager page opens up) > Locate 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' category and expand it > Right click and uninstall all the listed 'USB Root Hubs' listed underneath this category > Click 'Action tab' in 'File Menu' and 'Scan for Hardware Changes' (Windows will re-install all 'USB controllers' automatically) > Re-check if the 'USB Devices' are now detected.

If the issue persists, you may also try updating the 'Chipset drivers'; check if that helps. Hope this helps.
