How can I recover an accidentally deleted HD partition?

I just made a terrible mistake!

I've recently set up a desktop PC after 2 years without one.

Anyway, I've been backing up all my old 3.5 Inch HD's to newer and larger drives.

I just got finished moving a heap of files to a new drive, and when done, accidentally deleted the partition of the new drive and was just about to format it thinking it was the old empty drive when I realised what I had done...

So my question is, is it possible to recover a deleted partition? I'm guessing all the information is still on the drive as I haven't actually formatted it.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Yes.

    Undelete it.

Partition recovery function on any number of partition tools will do that.

    Partition wizard free is popular.

Best done from a boot disc here: Partition Wizard Bootable CD allows user to manage partition directly with partition manager bootable CD.

    Local Download
