    USB port not working

No USB port of my Dekstop PC is working. These ports can give power to USB device but no data is transferred. So USB mouse, pendrive,tv card etc. cannot work. There is also a little bit connection problem in audio port,Realtek audio port indicator continuously changing with the message-you have just unplugged an audio device. After a few days Windows 7 encounter an error problem code numbered 43 . It says that one of the USB root hub is stopped by window,It shows another Root Hub that is working properly but Unused. I have already tried several things, reconnecting all the connections of my motherboard, reconnecting Bios battery of motherboard,No result came out.
Please help me how i can fix all these problem

In Device Manager right clik every instance of USB roots and hubs and select remove/uninstall...you will recieve a warning...ignore it.

Upon re-boot Windows will automatically re-install them.
    Let us know...

    Bad/Corrupt Driver Update?

Maybe you got a bad driver update.

Windows offered me an update for my USB3 driver today.
It actually installed a driver for a USB3 hub.
The Device Manager "spat the dummy" over that.
It totally "borked" my USB3 port (my USB2 ports were unaffected).

Uninstalling the hub driver and reinstalling my original driver didn't fix the problem.
I had to re-image my HDD to fix the damage.
