Windows 7: Mouse scrolling issue.

Mouse scrolling issue.

right the mouse in question is a Microsoft Comfort mouse 4500, which was in fact a replacement for another faulty and discontinued mouse l had.. (was pretty lucky to get 4 replacements due to a post and warehouse issue..)

but anywho.. of the two l kept both seem to have developed the same issue.. the scroll buttons sensitivity is off the charts which makes it hard to use the middle click to open what l want to open, half the time lm opening up something two or three links up or down because thats where the pointer ends up after l click..

now you may say its the mouse, which would have been true for my previous one but the second one when it works normally is fine but lve found when l leave my system on and go to sleep or leave for any period of time the scroller button issue seems to come back.. generally the only way to revert original sensitivity settings is by rebooting as none of the settings work on the MS keyboard and mouse centre.

Do you have the latest intellipoint software and driver for the mouse?

Have you tried to change the settings of the mouse?

Scrolling with the mouse
I find that I can scroll with the mouse wheel in some programs and not others. For instance in Google I can scroll through the articles no bother. Here in the forum scrolling is no bother. If I go into Word no joy, I have to use the scroll bar. I would like to know if this is a fault of the...

Mouse Scrolling Program
I'm looking for a 64-bit compatible mouse button scrolling program that does Adobe Acrobat style grab and drag to scroll. Simulating scrollbar dragging, except anywhere within a window, instead of having to actually grab the scroll bar button. Programs I've tried: Grab and Drag - the absolute...
Mouse clicking and scrolling on its own
Is there any reason why my laptop's pointer sometimes just click and scrolls on its own? Most of the time it doesnt, but sometimes, if my pointer is on a button (close, submit, etc), it automatically clicks it. i am sure that there is nothing pressing the left mouse buttons (the built in ones and...

Scrolling/Mouse issue
Hello, I don't know if it is possible to fix this, but I figured I would try since it's driving me insane. When I am scrolling through a folder with the scroll bar, a line of text pops up telling me what the icon names are, this covers the icons, and gets distracting. I have been googleing the...
