just installed AMD Bulldozer X8 FX-8150 but sytem not seeing all memy

    but now the proper dual channel slots can not work together. I may go get a single 8gb and run that as ganged single dual channel?

    gigabyte said that the motherboard does not support the cpu. But i got one 8 gb stick working. Looks like i have to get the next board up. any one want to buy the board?

    well just bought a sabertooth 990fx and 8gb of patriot ram and i still get that memory issue??? cpu faulty?

    Doubtful it's the memory. Can you take a picture of the error you're getting. You installed the new Sabertooth (nice mobo!) and I would use only one stick of DDR3 to then do a clean install of Windows as I don't believe you have a chance of using your current W7 from the install of the previous mobo.

    ya i did do a clean install with the new 8gb in and still this?

    Its got to be the cpu???

    Everything else is good, your booting but not getting all the ram installed to be usable?

    so can a bad pcu effect 2 slots of ram? working in 2 and not in the other? pc is not as fast and kinda hangs waiting for internet to connect. Same symptoms on 2 different boards and ram. Thinking of taking cpu back and getting a exchange.
