    Strange Behavior of Logitech Mouse

I have a Logitech M305 wireless mouse plugged into a USB port. The pointer is accompanied by the blue, circular, busily spinning icon which is flashing continuously. I have never seen it flash before. Would anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Check your running programs in Task Manager. Make sure there isn't an app "going crazy."

Post a screenshot of the entire list of processes under the Processes tab of the task manager. There's some process going crazy as it seems.

Try uninstalling the driver, then reinstalling it. Also, check to make sure you have the latest driver.

I'm using several Logitech M525s and had nothing but trouble with Logitech's driver so I'm just using the default windows driver. You might want to try the same thing.

That said, I also suspect you may have a process running wild. It wouldn't necessarily show up in the task manager. I'm not tryingn to be insulting but have you tried rebooting and checking your start menu to see if a rogue program is trying to start up?

    Good point Mrs. Fitzgerald.

@OP; also try doing a clean boot.
