CPU fan speed

    I'm going to wait for Britton30 to come back, and ignore my last question. I'm going to start another thread. To me it sounds like the cooler isn't seated good. Did you apply thermal compound? Are you OCing?

    Yes, I used the compound which came with it.

    From your ss your temp only went up to 52C. I think we should wait for Britton30 or someone else to come in. I don't want to give you bad advice.

    I maybe wrong but, if the temps do not go over 52c, then isn't the cooler doing its job while running this test ?

    or should the program be making the temps go up no matter what ?

    Rerunning the test now, so far with the same results.

    It would seem that it was, but the fan speeds have me wondering. Also try core temp and see what that gives you for temps.

    Do you mean core temps in CPUID ?

    No I me a different program, I prefer it seems to match my bios better.

    I was referring to the max temp of the CPU, Intel has TJmax and Tcase, I don't think AMD specifies.
    It's fine that IBT failed, many AMDs will at max settings, the two I have do the same thing.

    Here's another temp monitor to try out.

    How do I stand with the cooler and fan ?
    All is good ? , anything to worry about ?
    How doe's the shot of core temp look ?
