Now that is one heckuva good suggestion! Hats off. I'll sure be looking into that one - cheap and gets nice reviews. Thanks!

    -------------
Now on another computer which will be running Ubuntu Linux and has a Noctua NH D-14 heatsink, I need 16 GB of RAM that will fit under this "Heatsink from Hell". Used to buy only Kingston, now been keeping loyalty to Corsair.

Any suggestions for a ASUS M5A97 Evo motherboard 16 GB DDR3 RAM. Running an AMD 1090T 6-core. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Note to self: Although my Mom has always said I'm brilliant, I really don't know squat about what's good in the RAM world nowadays.

The QVA for the M5A97 Evo is attached, but I must admit I doubt that it is all inclusive.
