    Just a quick notice:
    If your card is still disabled and you can't make it enabled, try to uninstall your firewall (ZoneAlarm, etc) and antivirus software (Eset Nod32, Karspersky Internet Security, etc). I have an Edimax EW-7128g and I tried everything mentioned here in this thread, but nothing worked. Finally I read somewhere that someone uninstalled his/her Kaspersky Internet Security and it help, so I did the same with my ZoneAlarm and NOD32, restarted my PC and hell yeah, it's enabled now :) (after the card is enabled, you can reinstall both program)

    umm i have the same card on a new pc and tried all your methods and didnt work also used gamers driver didnt work. Any ideas?dont have any firewalls/avs..

    also im on w7 64bit

    your running windows 7 64bit right, well your going to need to try and find a driver for the 64bit version i'll see what i can dig up for you

    Wow thank you so much, I had the same exact problem as you and I've been searching for this forever! It's absolutely ridiculous that the included driver does not work even though it says compatible with Windows 7 and I couldn't find it online because Ralinks website is balls! ANyway you are my hero!
