Maybe your DVD player is damaged, you can try using an ISO archive of the mac installation disc.

If that's the case then Windows wouldn't load at all.

That error almost always means that the media has bad spots.

See if you can borrow someone else's Vista dvd, and try again.
Or, download your flavor of Vista from the below link, and burn to dvd using ImgBurn at 4x speed.

I always recommend using only Taiyo Yuden (JVC) or Mitsubishi (Verbatim) media. If you use discount store products, it's a good chance they are knockoffs or poor quality, inexpensive brands. Only buy from established houses like Amazon, Newegg, or SuperMediaStore.

Yes! With the assumption that your dvd drive is functioning well.

Please try to use quality media as I've expressed in my post.

What Types od CDS do you use because for some reason my iso isn't burning. Every time I try to burn a disc image my cd tray opens up.

I use Taiyo Yuden dvd-r. I'm not a fan of rewritables; veeeeery slow!
    I buy 100 count packs.

Maybe have had one or two coasters in about 500 burns.

Download and use ImgBurn; and use 4x speed, plus verify.

The tray glitch may be solved by using ImgBurn. If there is an internal problem, the program will tell you.
Another possibility is that your media is faulty.

Download VSO Inspector, and test your dvd drive.
