To run WD's Datalifeguard Diagnostic Tool for DOS:

    Hi raiden32,

Download Western Digital's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for DOS from WD Support / Downloads / SATA & SAS / WD VelociRaptor

Prepare a bootable DOS pen drive with Rufus. Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

Windows Format a Partition on Disk?-dosboot.jpg

Extract the zip file into the root of the bootable DOS pen drive.

Boot from the pen drive and against the command prompt type dlgdiag5.exe and press enter.

This will run the diagnostic Tool. Follow the instructions in the Western digital website to run the tests.

I have decided to boot Windows Vista Using a USB stick . I am using the program WinToFlash. Maybe My Windows Installation Disk is damaged that's why it won't allow me to install it.
