Nokia BH-503 bluetooth headset support on Windows 7 (A2DP protocol)

    hi,

I recently bought one Nokia BH-503 bluetooth headset. It is able to connect my samsung galaxy SIII but not able to visible in my Dell PC running on Windows 7 Home Premium.

I tried to search for driver update but got so many links from so many sites. At last got confused and nothing works. Can anybody please let me know which one is formal way to make it work? Is it the windows compatibility problem or something? Please suggest a perfect way to make it work.

I owe you a drink after I get it fixed :) Its for sure....

    Hi surjya123,

Please let me know the model number of the system along with the Bluetooth card installed on the system. We would be more than happy to provide you with the appropriate driver/application.

Also, let us know what happens when you try to search for Bluetooth devices on the system.

my dell laptop model number N5050. I think the bluetooth chip is broadcom. But don't know how to see the exact chip number in windows. In linux, I know how to see the bluetooth card. But I don't have linux installed.

Now I am able to fix the problem. I reset the bluetooth headset BH-503 and now windows is able to detect. I am able to listen any audio from my laptop on my bluetooth headset.

I have the same setup and have tried the steps mentioned in the thread after reseting but without any luck.Could you please check and tell me your "Dell Wireless 1701 Bluetooth v3.0+HS driver". Mine is latest version 12.0.0.7600. My suspicion is older version might work.
