    how to disable keyboard


    hello everyone, i need to know if there is a way to disable internal keyboard of my laptop because some buttons have already lost their functions and one of them keeps pressing by itself,truly annoys me i use wireless keyboard for long

    it doesnt help me caused more malfunctions when i used keyboard mapper softwares

    Disconnect the keyboard internally ... it's one ribbon cable and fairly easy to remove, plus you can just put the keyboard back in place (disconnected that is), just make sure that you remove the battery and power supply before doing it

    a simple way to disable the laptop keyboard (any brand) is to go to the device manager, go to update driver then install an INCOMPATIBLE keyboard driver instead of the standard ps/2 driver then reboot. You will see that after reboot your defective laptop keyboard is no longer functioning thus solving the problem. Hope this helps.

    Sorry my suggestion did not help you .... Guess you had problems after a reboot ?

    The only real way to disable the keyboard is as PooMan UK has suggested

    this doesnt not help either i uinistalled that keyboard still works

    thanks actualy i meant a easy way without opening inside of laptop but i will try that if there is no other way to disable it
