How to check F drive on reboot?

    How to check F drive on reboot?


    I read tutoria but couldn't understand. my partition manager 3rd party says there are some error . so i want to fix the error on reboot . what are the steps to check particular f drive on reboot. please help

    Are you talking about the chkdsk command ? If so do the stuff below

    Click on the button . Type CMD inside the Search programs and files box inside the Start Menu . Right click on CMD under Programs (1) choose Run as administrator . On the User Access Control window click on the Yes button. Inside the command prompt type the command below .

    chkdsk F: /F /R
    press <ENTER> it will ask you to schedule a restart press the Y key and manually restart the PC . It will check your hard drive before it gets to your desktop.

    is there any space in
    chkdsk F: /F /R
    i mean chkdskF:/F/R or joint as a typed just now

    i couldn't run the command,,, i tried by many ways but not succeed. can i check the disk manually going the drive and doing the right click and going to the properties and tool and check now option, ? but please make me sure that will this process be as effective as the checking in the booting time? because i have the suspection that if i do manually then it will be online mode and may not be checked where as in the booting mode , it will be offline mode ...so help me saying the difference
