    partition lost and asking for format? trouble


    i was changing my p drive into logical from to the logical with third party software called Pargon hard disk manager but it took a long time so i canceled the process . the a message pop up saying drive p needs to be formatting. there were my inportand data just recoverd . how to get back the partition as in earlier state without formatting.... recovered

    Oh dear.......does Paragon have a partition recovery module? If so, thats the only thing you can try. If it doesn't try Partition Wizard:

    How to perform lost partition recovery and deleted partition recovery under Windows? Partition Recovery Help.

    It WILL take a long time - be patient this time, and don't cancel these sorts of operations.

    thanks i will do,,,,but can you tell me what are the advantages or disadvantages to make a disk logical or primary
