    USB keyboard in pre-boot issues

Hello all , I'm in some real trouble . I have a crapy laptop with a broken keyboard , the enter button ain't working. Now the thing is that I can use a usb keyboard while the OS runs but it is not working in BIOS and pre-boot. I can enter BIOS and I saw that BIOS legacy support is disabled so I switched it to enabled , but I can't save the changes because of the broken enter button? Is there any other way to save changes without the enter button? Or how should I get my usb keyboard to work? THANK YOU

In theory the BIOS could offer a quick "save and exit" shortcut (look around its screens), by pressing a key from F1 to F12, but not all BIOS do that.

Try another keyboard. "legacy support" should allow usb 1.1 devices to work in BIOS, USB 2.0 devices should work fine.

Another option is prying open the enter key (carefully, it is usually kept in place by a clip-like system, using a little lever should do the trick) and trying to press the actual button connected to it, maybe with a pen if it's hard to reach.
