Computer stays "running" after shutdown.
So this is what's happening, I just ordered a few case fans from Newegg. These are the fans I got, COUGAR CF-V12HP Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing (Fluid) 300,000 Hours 12CM Silent Cooling Fan with Pulse Width Modulation - Newegg.com
Now my problem is that when I shut down my PC everything seems to still be running, all fans are running, the LEDs on my one LED fan are still on, and my DVD drive bays still open and close. I can hear everything in the PC still moving like its fully on yet my monitor "goes to Sleep" and wont come back on until I reboot it. Which when I do reboot it shows the whole standard windows startup screens with the post screen and all.
I've never had this kind of problem before I installed the fans, normally if I shut it down everything would shut down, but it just seems like it don't want to. It does disconnected my other PCs from reading off the homegroup like its actually shut off.
I don't know why it's doing this, I have the two new fans plugged in through the connectors it came with that adapt it to get power from the PSU, don't know if that's the cause though. Just looking for some insight on how to make it actually shut off when I shut it down. Not having to go and hit the power switch on the PSU
