Yes, but if the motherboard only supports 400mhz FSB, it doesnt matter how high your
RAM is rated, it will only perform at 400Mhz...

Well, that was certainly a bit of back and forth- to come to this consensus - buy 4GB of the PC5300 RAM (667 MHz). Use the left over AUD to get a 4GB thumb drive.
