Ok, so now I have chosen my CPU, I plan to go with the AMD FX-8350. (Thanks for the help guys)
    Newegg.ca - AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX
But now I have to choose a motherboard, I don't really know how, or which motherboard to choose that would work with this CPU, since this is my first build.:)

Honestly the best board i think for that is ASUS Sabertooth they also have one with PCI-E 3.0 doesn't make a difference though but it does sound good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...irtualParent=1

Just about any modern multi-core CPU will run games perfectly fine because 99% of games rely more on the GPU than the CPU. The reason I suggested the FX-8350 is because he was looking at 3 different AMD CPU's. I could just have easily suggested the Intel i5-3570K at roughly the same price that would run the same, or better than the AMD CPU :)

Hence why I suggested the Haswell build.
