I am not essentially wanting to overclock, all I'd care about is the performance of both CPUs when pushing them to their limits. Hope you'll undestand. :)
All I can go by is the review I read so far.

Based on that, if you only wanted to overclock Ivy or Haswell to 4.2ghz then Haswell will be faster and won't be too hot. If you want to go much higher then right now Ivy looks like the better option.

The good news is you don't need to buy for a month, by then there will be numerous reviews, benchmarks and user reviews on forums etc to give the full picture of what Haswell is like to overclock with.
Great, would be ample time then. Should I still get a Z87 mobo if I weren't to be getting a Haswell? Thanks.

For Ivy you need Z77, for Haswell you need Z87

Sorry, I meant Z87. More specifically, the one I mentioned in one of my previous posts. :)

The two aren't interchangeable. Ivy Bridge is Socket 1155(Z77) and Haswell is Socket 1150(Z87). If you go with the i5-3570K, you need a Z77 motherboard. If you get the i5-4670K, you need a Z87 motherboard.

Okay, so if I picked the i5-3570k I would need the p8z77-v I previously selected and for the Haswell I would need the newly picked z87, got it. Any other improvements this build could use? Other than the CPU/MOBO exchange - I've traded the GTX 660 Ti with a 760 Ti when it's out.

Thanks! Looking forward to building it! Will be posting pictures as suggested by somebody prior. :)
Anyone still has advice send them my way!

Doug, if you want to send me the hardware, I will get to testing it......let me give you my address... lol

The only thing I personally would change is the CPU cooler. What you have listed is great for a mild OC, but for aesthetics, performance, and sound levels, I'd go with a closed loop water cooler. Just a suggestion.
