Good morning, I have a user that is unable to use the networked Lexmark X646E to scan documents. She is able to successfully fill out the Scan profile and send the job to the MFP, but when you go to the printer to scan the document it will scan and attempt to send the doc back to the users machine, and that is where it errors out.

Connection failure:
Unable to make a TCP connection to the server

I've came across this once in the past with a Dell Latitude E4300 laptop, and the only solution was to just swap out the laptop, so that tells me it is on the machine side not the printer. being that this is a fiscal employee I do not want to just swap out her machine, it is not that simple this time. I followed the steps I found:

To do this in Microsoft Windows 7:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Under Network and Internet, click View network status and tasks.
3. Click Change adapter settings.
4. Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
5. In the "This connection uses the following items" list, double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
6. Click Advanced, and then click the WINS tab.
7. Click Use NetBIOS setting from the DHCP server, and then click OK three times.

That setting was already set up, also no other users are reporting issues, there are two X646E's on that floor and she receives the same error regardless of which she uses.

Anyone have any idea's of anything I could check?

Another saved round, last week I was deleting a computer from AD, and accidentally deleted hers by mistake. I immediately corrected this issue by disconnecting her from the domain and then re-joining her to it. Everything seemed like it went well, but a week later we have this issue.
