How can I make my boot up faster?

I just installed an SSD boot drive, a Crucial M4 256GB. The previous drive was a 150GB VelociRaptor (actual 139GB). Problem was I kept running out of space so I decided to give the SSD a try. Most programs bootup much faster which is nice.

I'd like to try overclocking. When I've tried this in the past I got too impatient with all the booting. I'm willing to give it another shot if I can tweak a few more seconds on the boot.

Is there a list of files that can be removed to boot faster, or any other hints?

    Thanks,
    Burt

Does the SSD not already boot much faster than the HDD? Also, with overclocking.........you WILL need patience. If you don't have patience when overclocking, it may impact your bank account!

The SSD is noticably faster on all counts. However, I'm sure I have a lot of garbage lodged within the start sequences.

So then, just go to msconfig, hide all the microsoft programs, then start unchecking what you don't want to run at startup.

But I doubt if doing any of that will help speed up your actual boot time.
