They were out when I bought the drive, so I just used my exotic cable ties. Afterwards, I have just been to lazy to crack the case open and replace it with a bracket.

Because now the space that the bracket would have gone is still open and free and can be used later for another 3.5" drive.

I'm a believer!!!! Holy @#$@#%!!!! This thing is seriously I think the single biggest change I've ever seen in a computer from 1 item changing. Holy cow. My boot went from 60 seconds to 14 seconds. Windows 7 installation went from 12 minutes to 8 minutes. I installed 12 windows updates in a matter of seconds. Every program I installed was done right after I hit the next to begin installing. Everything opens like it was already running and I just switched to it's window. Shnikes. Wow... I'll post my performance test stuff later tonight when I have more time.

Well, rubber bands and scotch tape have become the latest trends in hardware upgrades b/c SSD's just don't move around. Brackets are just so yesteryear.

N/e ways, gonna have to get a 2nd one for my laptop I think. I'm totatlly loving this thing, even as an upgrade from velociraptor raid 0, still spanks spanks

Most of my computer work is AI calculations in Civ4 so it is unlikely to benefit greatly with this.

What's the next generation install media?
DVDs are becoming old technology. What is the next way we will buy windows at retail? Flash drive? ISO over the internet? Something to do with flash media? What do you think. It has to come pretty soon. The DVD drive is going the way of the floppy!
