    Great you fixed it :) - the matrix driver software may not of installed correctly because you may have needed to update the chipset drivers firstly, hence, the minimum requirements weren't meet.
    It may not of installed also because it couldnt access the drive - now you fixed the permissions you could see if it installs - you may have problems with dvd drive for eg - thats one confirmed problem not having the matrix sofware installed can cause.

    I actually had a bonehead moment. My power supply only has 2 sata power connectors and like a million molex ones. So I need an adapter doh! So as of right now I'm diskless, but thanks for the heads up!
