    Using HP Scanjet 3770

    Hi,

Just discovered HP are not supporting my scanner in Win7. The Vista 64 drivers seem to work though

Import pictures wizard saves the image so I can then Open it, but is it possible to Scan To an application ?

    Thanks.

Well mate if it is not supported in 7 then I would guess you might be chasing your tail. How about just snip the scan form the library pic and add by inserting if it is for a Word doc??

Meant to ask what is 7 pending?? are you stoill installing or have not started yet??

Other option is XP Mode perhaps, I'd dig deeper though before upgrading 7 if you don't have at least Pro with the XP Mode support beginning there.

If you can save a scan, the rest is gravy, isn't it?

Agreed Faladu though I personally don't like upgrades far better off with anew HDD and an OEM 7:)

Well rather obvious but I thought maybe the OP was still trying to get 7 on board so suggested what I did but......
