NP504 Weird malfunctions, unable to connect to powerlines

I know that on might not know about this, if anyone knows anyone or anywhere i could get better advice, could they please tell me? I would really appreciate it.

My NetComm NP504 which is an powerline Ethernet Adapter recently started not working, the light signifying that it is connected to the powerlines went off. The adapter has been working for about 6 months now and for it to break down suddenly is surprising.

    Here are some details:
Adapter been working fine for a few months
My internet started derping so I decided to restart the router
After i restarted the router, my adapter still would not connect, yet all the lights signifying that it was working properly were blinking fine.
Since it wasn't connecting, I reset the adapter using the reset button and after that, the light saying that the adapter was connected to the powerline would not turn on.
After that I pulled out both adapters, one that was connected to the router and one that was connected to my computer, and plugged them right beside each other on a power socket. The powerline light lit up for around 10 seconds then turned off again. I reset both adapters and it still went like this.
Now when the adapters are plugged in, the lights signifying Ethernet connectivity and Adapter powered are on, but not the light signifying connected to the powerline.

I am sure that my houses' powerlines are perfectly fine, as the adapter was working before, and there have been no power surges that I have been aware of.

Windows network troubleshooter just says that default gateway not available as seen in the pictures.

does anyone have any ideas how I may make my adapter work again? or do i need to get a new one?

    A simple question

Are you able to connect to the router directly and get internet without the poweline adapters ??

I'm not sure since my computer is too far away however Ethernet works perfectly fine to any other devices

Well first confirm that the router works by directly connecting your computer to the router or if you have a laptop use that to confirm.

    Ok try the below.

Hold down the Simple Connect button on the first device for 15 seconds, or until the LEDs flash, then hold the Simple Connect on the second device for 3 seconds and finally hold the Simple Connect button on the first device for 3 seconds.
The network password has now been reset and both adapters will be able to communicate with each other.

Its the button that opposite to the reset button and larger in size

I have done that many times as stated above, however the lights that indicate that the adapter is connected to the power line does not turn on, so I think it may be broken however both the internet and on lights are on. I want to make sure that the adapter is broken and not just being stupid before I try to go back for warranty, I wanted to see if there were other ways to troubleshoot problems

Use the NP504 or the Powerline utility to check the settings on the devices
