    Bluetooth stopped working

    Hello.

Months ago I was configuring a ps3 controller on my laptop, I got it working, started playing a game then I got a BSOD, bluetooth has not worked since.
I uninstalled the drivers, installed again, updated drivers, etc etc, nothing works.

Do you think the bluetooth chip is fried?

    Thanks in advance.

It's internal, brand is Atheros. It doesn't show up in devices.

This is the info I got from the specs:
"Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter (bgn), 3.0 Bluetooth"

That's the wireless card I have.

I installed the driver from Asus site, it didn't work.
Where should it show in Device Manager? I only found 'Atheros Bluetooth Bus' in 'System devices'.

    Hi espica,

Thanks for your reply. Please download the driver from from the link below:

Drivers for Atheros AR9002WB and Windows 7

Also, please ensure wireless card is enabled on the system as Bluetooth would work only once wireless card is working.

If the issue persists please post a screenshot of your device manager so we can check and advise further.

    Hope it helps.
