    RSTRUI.EXE Memory 0xfbb313 / 0xc000000f - Followed instructions 7forum

HArd Disk Smart Status Bad - Western Digital

I followed the instructions of someone here. Trying to recover data from a broken HD. Plugging in the HD in question while the computer was booted caused the CPU to freeze. This required a cold reboot, I did it 2 times The following errors are what I received on 2nd try. I AM NOT remotely blaming anyone for the error, I am just laying out a time frame. The broken HD is now removed from the equation. Could these new errors be related, does anyone have thoughts:

When I try to boot the computer:
"Windows failed to start hardware change might be cause" (I did change hardware to some degree I added the broken drive to the equation)
    Status 0xc000000f
    ---------------------
When trying to recover using any restore point:

Rstrui.exe 0xfbb313 referenced at 0x05359a58. The memory could not be written.
    ----------
    I ran:
MEMTest 86 V4.00 (NOT Done Yet):
    Duration: 2hr 29 min
Processor AMD Phenom II x4 (Quad) 955
    Ram400 MHZ DDR800/cas 6-6-6 -18 DDR2 128b
    12k reserved
    TEST: Std
    Memory: e820
    ECC: off
Different Cache Levels are Listed L1, 2 & 3 does this info help?
    PASS 3 - errors found 0
I do not know how much longer it has left. It has done 3 rounds.

MY Next step UNLESS someone has better advice is to do an HD CHECK I can load the broken CD at DOS prompt. I have not tried Safe MODE

Thank You in advance. More than ONCE individuals here have assisted me.
