    It's going to be hard to squeeze everything you need in/around $600. I mocked up a system on NewEgg that consisted of a CPU/MOBO/RAM/GPU/PSU and that came to $614. Still need a case and HDD. There may be a way to trim off 30-40 bucks, but not much more than that.

Alright I'm really confused, are most desktop parts universal? Like i could go out and buy like and Asus or Gigabyte motherboard, stick an Amd cpu in there, and run use a graphics card like so? EVGA - GeForce 9500 GT 1GB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card - 01G-P3-N958
