    showing a unnecessary hidden drive

    Hello,

I'm facing a big problem with my lenovo laptop. It's been 5 months I'm fail to remove a virus even I was using kaspersky and now using Quikheal but none of them work to remove the virus

The virus creates Hidden Drive and files too, check these screen shorts

Screen Shot 1 for hidden drive:

    2nd for hidden files

Please guide me how to remove them ... Any solution?

The second isn't a virus, it's normal to have that when the file is open in Microsoft Office or LibreOffice. It's a cache file so that in case of problems the original one isn't corrupted.

You can hide it from sight by writing "folder options" in the Start menu's searchbox, selecting Folder Options, go in the View tab, scroll down and select "don't show hidden files folders or drives".

Can you post a screenshot of Disk Management? write "create and remove partitions" and select the entry with the same name to open it.

The unknown drive appears to be a USB header where you can plug in a USB device or thumb drive.

You don't have to, it is showing as an empty drive, here's mine. The Removable Disks are all ports on a cards slot and one on my printer.

I should have said it can be a smart card slot, SD/HC, MS, MMC, etc.
