You have been given expert advice here. Now follow it or don't. It is your option. The way I look at things to come to a forum and ask for only Expert opinions is ridicules That is unless you are paying for the advice. I am not an expert and I don't believe we have that title here anyway so that is all I have to say other than.

    1. Reformat your PC.
    2. Perform a clean install.
    3. Activate that install .
    4. Get all of the Windows Updates you can for your clean install.
    5. Image your New Clean install so you have something to go back to.

    Have a nice day.:)

Hi there ... A Reinstall is not that difficult if you follow the Tutorial step by step ... You will get a perfect Clean Install .. And once you do you should make an Image to an External Drive .. And also make regular backups .. Prevention is better than cure .

maxie i know that reinstall wont be that much difficult but what i care about is that i have to install all updates again as my window disk is not sp1 so i have to make lots of update before making it sp1 and then a more lots to make it upto date so thats why i am searching for alternative way if any left.

I know Updates always takes time .. But i think the time that you have spent on this matter .. Just would have been quicker to Reinstall .. I am sure you know the Link which i gave you includes SP1
