Hitachi Touro 500G and 1T size question

You may think that this is a silly question but I want to buy a soft case for my new Touro 500G drive but I am finding a lot of 1T cases and few 500G cases.

Are the sizes close enough so that the 500G will comfortably fit in the 1T case? Don't want it to fit too loosely.

    Thanks all.

    Hi janinolf

They are both the exact same dimensions so you will have no issues there.

I checked the dimensions online for both the drives you mentioned.

    Paul.

    Edited to add more info.
