    Loud Fan Noise While Gaming


    I get this loud fan Noise when playing GtaIV is it safe for my pc ?

    Yes clean your Video Card good. I always remove mine to clean it. The card that you are using should be OK to run this game at it's highest settings.

    My GTX 660M in my laptop doesnt make that loud a noise playing the same game on external display, so would agree with others & clean fans or re paste graphics card last resort.

    That's not fan noise that's a DC10 on take off !

    Well the game i have is fully modded so maybe thats way its so loud on the fan

    My guess is it needs all intakes and fans cleaned as well the CPU cooler fins and GPU cooler fins and fans.

    Is it safe to open and clean? Yes if you are careful and don't touch the boards unless you are discharged of static. Is this fan condition safe? I would say that the fan (s) are trying to keep the rig cool and are working beyond hard....so is it safe? Is it too loud and would I want to track down a resolution....hell yes !
