Whenever I plug a certain flash drive into a computer, it will cause the monitor to not wake up after sleep, which forces me to hard shut down the computer and lose my data. I have scanned the whole drive for viruses and it's clean. Any ideas?
There are some point, you have to remember always before shut down you computer firstly you should save all date and should be backup for for the computer so that sudden the electric have gone then easily you can save data.

Have you checked this same USB drive on a different port. And have you tried to format the drive and then check again.

You should also update the chipset drivers for your system to see if it helps in this issue.
