Here are Idle and Load temps for IB according to Core Temp. Also, a snippet of a complete IBT run. If it matters any, it is 72*(just a tad over 22*C) in this room.

I see as much as 8-9* difference at idle but under load it's usually 5* difference or less.

My ambient is the same Kelly. I need to figure out where in the BIOS the CPU voltage settings are, it's very complex on this ASUS Z87 Deluxe. Crap, there's about 50 settings for RAM and CPU cache frequency, never heard of most of them.

Pop a USB flash drive in there and take some screenshots of your BIOS. Maybe we can figure it out. My CPU voltage is right here:

Did you change something when you were in the BIOS?

I went to XMP, CPU frequency to 44, boot order, disabled boot screen.
I'm about ready to smash it with a big hammer now. Seems any little change I make in the BIOS gets a message at POST to press F1 to recover BIOS, then it'll almost start and BSOD. Then it wants to run start up repair which never completes, I let it run for 2 hours earlier today.

I'm leaving it until tomorrow, too weak to pick up the hammer right now.

When you had it at 4.2GHz it was stable, right?

Here is a video of JJ and Logan OC'ing a Haswell CPU on an RoG board. I think your board has the same settings they are messing with. It's definitely worth a watch.

Thanks Kelly, it looks like a good start. I OCed it to 4400 but running IBT made it hit 100C in 4 seconds. There must be a combination of ratio and volts that will lower those temps.

What is your voltage @ 4.4GHz?
