HP Toolbox can't be found in Windows 7

I have an HP Color LaserJet 2600n and had to get the software online at HP website when we bought the Windows 7 64 bit sp1 (was on XP) and now I don't have HP toolbox to clean and calibrate. HP is absolutely no help at all and I thought maybe someone on this forum had found a download or a fix.

A friend of mine has the exact same problem with a PSC 1200 Series all-in-one. He "upgraded" from XP Home SP3 32-bit to Win 7 Home SP1 64-bit and he hates having to use Windows Fax and Scan, he can't align or clean or get ink levels, it's nearly impossible to adjust scanning sizes, and there's a huge difference between Draft mode (barely any ink) and the next mode up in quality (ink soaking the paper). He had to scan as best he could and put the images on a thumb drive so I could print them out on my Epson C88+. He is not a happy camper.

Who's to blame for this cheapskate attitude? HP or M$?

The driver isn't my problem. As I stated, I downloaded full software from HP website but it doesn't include HP Toolbox. I need the toolbox to clean, calibrate and adjust settings within the printer. As we were using XP when it was purchased a zillion years ago the cd is of no help.

Its suppose to be the HP Toolbox. The new drivers don't have that Tool

Is your Printer plugged into your PC via USB or plugged into a Switch for Network access ?

It's on USB. The link above took me to a data recovery site. Nothing seems to download.

Looks like they took that feature off on Windows 7. Try calling HP Tech Support.

I've been round and round with HP and they haven't given any help. No useful information what so ever. Thank you for your tries though.
